| In order to further normalize the examination and approval of the environmental impact assessment document of construction
projects, and unify administrative standard, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has organized complying the
principles for examination and approval (for trial implementation) of the environmental impact assessment document for
construction projects in 7 industries including thermal power, hydropower, steel, smelting of copper, lead and zinc, petrochemical,
pulp and paper and highways. The ministry released the Notice on the Examination and Approval of the Environmental
Impact Assessment Document of the Seven Industries Construction Projects (hereinafter referred to as the Notice)
on December 18th, 2015. If there was any adjustment in national environmental protection policy and environmental management
requirements, the examination and approval of the environmental impact assessment document of construction
projects should be carried out according to the new regulations. |
